Kitten Mittons

I like to share random videos and funny at that. This one I saw recently on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Charlie has a commercial for Kitten Mittons… so funny I love it.

By the way this video asks for your birthdate to make sure you are 17 or older. It asks that because the show itself is rated for mature audiences….the clip is really not rated that but they ask any way so sorry for the inconvenience…but the clip is worth it.

The Wonders of Renewing

There are a lot of great resources out there on how to be successful on Etsy. Being successful requires so many different factors. Recently this link has been floating around the forums on Etsy: The Etsy Experiment Revealed! Here you will find a blog by Something Blue. This etsy seller did a 6 month experiment with renewing her listings. It proves that renewing really works.

I have always been a renewer, but I never had the patience to sit down and record my every move when I did it. Renewing is definitely one reason I’ve been successful. But I wasn’t really able to prove it. And I didn’t know when was the best time do it. That is something I still need to figure out. But I’m glad to know somebody in etsyland was able to do this experiment.

The most important thing I learned from her experiment is:

“One item at a time is better even if it’s in succession. Whenever I renewed several items at once, at least one of those items would get no new views for several hours.”

Very good to know. I’m the type who would renew several at once. I am going to try one at a time and see how it works out for me. I might have to take on a little experiment of my own. And now queue the evil laughter.

2 Months Later

It’s been slightly more than two months since my blog died. Maybe that’s why I haven’t written anything since than. It’s sad to see your words and images go bye-bye. Like it was worth nothing. Or maybe I’m just being lazy. Maybe it’s just a little of both.

In efforts to help me or inspire me to write more I will make a list. Lists are good.

Here’s what I hope to do with my blog.
*I will write at least 4 posts a week.
*I will feature the lovely artists and crafters of Etsy.

That’s a really short list. But it’s a start.
